Midshore Riverkeeper photo competition opportunity

The Midshore Riverkeeper Conservancy put out the following press release this morning (Feb. 3).  It looks like a great opportunity to get photos published in the MRC Report Card for 2015 and displayed online.  Note the Feb. 26 deadline.

MRC Seeks Cover Photo for State of the Rivers Report Card

Midshore Riverkeeper Conservancy (MRC) is seeking photographs that showcase Midshore rivers and convey their beauty, recreation, and vitality. Pictures must be taken on the Miles River, Wye River, Choptank River or Eastern Bay (or their tributaries). One photo will be chosen by MRC staff for the cover of the 2015 State of the Rivers Report Card which will be released April 29, 2016. Runners-up will be featured on interior pages. The Report Card is a12-page full color booklet that will be disseminated in print throughout the community and digitally on MRC’s website and in electronic communications.

Submissions should sent to suzanne@midshoreriverkeeper.org. The deadline for submissions is 12:00 noon on February 26, 2016.

Photographers of all skill levels are welcome to submit up to three images. Photos depicting people, wildlife, and animals enjoying the rivers are especially encouraged. All photos will be posted on MRC’s Facebook page and MRC reserves the right to use photos in future promotions.
