During his talk to TCC on January 4, you may recall David Harp mentioning that he and Tom Horton were producing a documentary entitled “Beautiful Swimmers,” reprising William Warner’s 1976 book of the same name. It tells the story, this time on film, of the Chesapeake Bay’s blue crab. The documentary has now been released, and the Bay Journal has a nice review of the film here. They also include a schedule of area showings in April, including ones in Cambridge, Easton, and on Maryland Public Television.
It’s Harp’s first documentary, and you might want to take a look. It sounds like a winner.
