During the week of February 5-9, the National Cathedral moves all chairs out of the nave and provides three different special opportunities available to photographers:
-Monday 5 February, 9pm – 10pm: “Nighttime Illuminated Photography”- After-hours access for a special nighttime illumination. We will have special lighting in place, casting colors all around the Cathedral … floor, walls, ceiling.
-Tuesday 6 February, 8:45am – 10am: “Seeing Deeper Special Photography Access”- Before-hours access to photograph the wide-open expanse of the Cathedral. Each session will begin with opportunities to capture the open length of the building before photographers start wandering the space to find your own unique views of the building.
-Thursday 8 February, 8:45am – 10am: “Seeing Deeper Special Photography Access”- Before-hours access, same as Tuesday morning.
To purchase tickets for any of these sessions, please visit the Cathedral’s box office and search by date(s) or event title in which you’re interested: https://tix.cathedral.org/.
