Lesher Poultry Farm in PA – Photography Outing- CANCELLED DUE TO STORM DAMAGE

I am inviting the Tidewater Camera Club to come join me on September 10th at Lesher Poultry Farm PA. They have the most amazing sunflower fields with over 200 acres of sunflowers as far as you can see. And get this: you’re free to roam and walk into the fields to do photography.

I went there this time last year and I was blown away. You will be too.

This is the address they are giving us this year: Location: 1187 Marion Road, Chambersburg Pa 17202

I plan on getting there around 10 am.

Please be courteous and respectful of the private residences that are located near the field. Please park only in the provided parking areas. Parking on or along the road is dangerous not only for you but also for the other drivers. Use caution and common sense when driving, as you approach the field.

Hours: Daily from Dawn to Dusk.

Cutting Sunflowers: If you want to cut a flower it is $1 per stem. They will have some clippers available to use for cutting, however when it is busy you may have to wait for someone to finish using or simply bring your own pair to use.
